Visit of the representatives of the Kosovo’s DPA
On 7-10 July 2014 the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection hosted the representatives of the National Agency for Personal Data Protection of Kosovo. The study visit was held within the EU Project “Support for Kosovo institutions in the field of Protection of Personal Data”.
The meeting allowed the participants to get acquainted with the personal data protection system in Poland, as well as with the functioning and activity of the Polish DPA. Representatives of GIODO’s particular departments delivered presentations devoted to specific data protection issues being of interest to the participants. The visit provided also an opportunity for discussion and exchange of experience.
On 10 July 2014 Dr Wojciech R. Wiewiórowski, the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection and Ruzhdi Jashari, Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Kosovo, concluded the Memorandum on cooperation between the Polish and the Kosovo’s data protection authorities.
